The Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicraft Institute (IVBAM), at the invitation of the Sindicato Nacional da Actividade Turística Tradutores e Intérpretes (SNATTI) (National Trade Union of Tourist Activity Translators and Interpreters), promoted this Monday and Friday two online seminars (webinars), the first on Madeira Rum and the second on Madeira Wine.
In this action, which included the presentations on Madeira Rum and Wine prepared by Rubina Vieira, from the IVBAM’s Gabinete de Ações Educativas, over one hundred people participated in each of the online seminars. Essentially, the seminars aimed to deepen and broaden the knowledge of SNATTI professionals on the most varied themes related to the production and Madeira Rum and Wine sectors.
These actions are also in line with the strategy which has been put into practice by the IVBAM in order to provide knowledge and experiences to different professionals, both with Rum and Madeira Wine, and in this way also give greater support to their activity and attract new connoisseurs of these two regional products. It should be recalled that last year the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Rural Development, through the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicraft Institute (IVBAM), promoted nearly 70 educational actions, similar to those now being carried out with SNATTI, on Madeira wines and agricultural rum, which covered nearly 900 people of various nationalities.
