Serving

Temperature

The appropriate serving temperatures depend on the type of Madeira Rum. It is recommended that younger white rums be served between 10º and 12º C. Since they are more complex, aged rums are best served at a temperature between 16º and 18º C.

When in doubt, accept the advice of the producer, almost always indicated on the label.

Glass

Madeira Rum is served in a traditional glass for spirits. It is not advisable to use a balloon shape that is very closed at the top because the rum needs space to enhance the richness of its aromas.
