In 2021, the amount of sugar cane transformed just for the production of Madeira Rum was 7,410 tons, which makes a produced amount of Madeira Rum at 100% volume of 3,286 hectoliters. The largest bottling volume is in the “natural” rum category, with around 4,956 hectoliters.
