The Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development, Humberto Vasconcelos, presided over the official launch ceremony of a new website dedicated exclusively to Madeira Rum.
The new portal features a set of detailed information, not only on the history of the introduction of sugarcane and rum production in Madeira, but also on the existing operators in the regional market and their brands. This measure is also in line with the strategy defined by the IVBAM to reinforce, especially on digital platforms, the visibility and notoriety of regional products, in this specific case, Madeira rum.
The event took place at the IVBAM premises on Rua 5 de Outubro and was also attended by the media, as well as other guests from the restaurant and hotel industry.
