Created in 1982 by the owner, Florentino Izildo Gouveia Ferreira, the mill “O Reizinho (The Little King)” started with the traditional practice of grinding and the production of homemade rum. Today, the company produces liqueurs, rum and other spirits. His rum “O Reizinho” has won several awards at national and international level, including the gold medal at the World Rum Awards in 2019, and two gold medals at the China Wine & Spirits Awards in 2020 and between 2021 and 2023, several medals in France and Italy. It is marketed in Madeira, England, France, Germany, Italy and USA.
