In 2025, the quantity of sugar cane processed only for the production of Madeira Rum was 6.895 tonnes, which amounts to a quantity of Madeira Rum at a 100% volume of 2.975 hectoliters. According to the table below, it is verified that the largest volume of bottling is in the category of “natural” (white) Rum, with about 4.433 hectoliters, (around 84,3% of all Madeira rum bottled).
