In 2024, the quantity of sugar cane processed only for the production of Madeira Rum was 7.406 tonnes, which amounts to a quantity of Madeira Rum at a 100% volume of 3.580 hectoliters. According to the table below, it is verified that the largest volume of bottling is in the category of “natural” (white) Rum, with about 5.528 hectoliters, (around 88,2% of all Madeira rum bottled).
