Mojito

Recipe: Madeira Barmen Association

Ingredients

50 ml Madeira Rum white (preferably 3 years old)
15 ml lime juice
8 to 12 fresh mint leaves
2 teaspoons bar white sugar or 10 ml sugar syrup (2:1)
Soda or sparkling water

Method

1 – Crush the mint leaves together with the sugar and lime juice;
2 – Add the rum and crushed ice and fill with soda;
3 – Garnish with a sprig of mint.
